Everyone has a RIGHT to pure, clean water and they should not have to walk miles to get it in the 21st Century. Every time we turn on a faucet in our homes please remember that someone in a village in Africa has to walk down and up the mountainside at age 70 or 80 to collect the amount of water that flows when you brush your teeth each morning. That water has to last them or they have to go back down the mountain to collect more.
Just think how many times they have to make the trip to collect the amount of water we use when we take a shower. In the West we take so much for granted. Just flip a switch and the light comes on – lift a handle and the clean, pure water flows out.
We have a vision to drill and put in wells not just on the land on which we are building but also in villages throughout the Nsanje area.
